Just over a week after we all learned that Tiger's left knee had packed in, the big cat's undergone surgery and, much to the dismay of Phil mickelson and all the other golfers on tour, doctors say the procedure went well and that they expect him to make a full recovery.

The surgery on Tiger's Anterior Cruciate Ligament was performed by the same doctors who performed arthroscopic surgery on his left knee in April; Dr. Thomas D. Rosenberg and Dr. Vernon J. Cooley (could they sound any more like doctors? - Ed).

Both doctors say they were 'pleased with the results,' and that Tiger's knee shouldn't cause him any long-term problems so long as he sticks to his rehabilitation and training programs. We reckon he'll be back on tour next week, knowing Tiger...
