Ian Poulter: 'Can't wait to have a chicken korma off this plate...'

Ian Poulter (2nd)

If it hadn't been for that pesky Harrington bloke, our man Poulter would have woken up this morning as the new Open champion. You've got to admire Poults' grit and determination throughout the week, in particular yesterday, where he carded a wonderful final round of 69. Top notch stuff...

Camilo Villegas (T39)

The Colombian showed signs of what he's capable on Saturday when he posted what was undoubtedly the round of the week; a five under par 65. He was never really able to build on that fine round, finishing with a 76 yesterday. If you're not already doing so, keep your eyes on Villegas in the near future...

Adam Scott (T16)

Our second favourite Aussie (give Greg Norman his dues) finished off with a solid 72 yesterday to end up tied for 16th. After a first round 70, we thought it may well be his year, but he fell off the boil a bit in the second and third rounds. How he hasn't won a major yet is criminal...

Paul Waring (T19)

Ross Fisher (T39)

Can't say we were too impressed with his lime green shirt and white trouser combination, but Fisher can't half leather a golf ball. He was hitting driver off the deck at one point yesterday, and you feel if the wind hadn't been so strong throughout the week, he would have had a better chance.
