Sergio Garcia & Vijay Singh: 'Same time next week, Sergio?'

Talk about finding some form at the right time, eh? Vijay Singh laughed all the way to the Deutsche Bank yesterday as he won his second tournie - and more importantly second FedEx Cup event - on the trot. In doing so, Singh passed the $60 million dollar mark in career earning. Nice for some...

The Fijian sealed the deal with a final round of 63 (his fourth knock in the 60s) to finish on 22-under par, a whopping five strokes ahead of Mike Weir. Ernie Els and IGWT fave Camilo Villegas finished tied for third and, if you listen to our Bet Detective, Sergio Garcia (T5) provided a small each-way finish. Better than a punch in the face, I guess...

Other names to finish well included Chav Campbell, Justin Leonard and Jim Furyk (all T7). For a second week running, however, it was all about Vijay. Notoriously nervy with the putter, Singh's putts have indeed started to drop, which means he's well ahead in the FedEx Cup standings with 120,500 points.
