Ken Brown: What else did he expect with a putting stance like that?

Things couldn't have gone much worse for Ken Brown at the 1979 Ryder Cup. Not only did he feel the wrath of officials for refusing to wear the team jacket or attend meetings, he was also on the wrong side of a 7 & 6 bruising in the foursomes. Hale Irwin and Tom Kite handed out the demolition to Ken and his playing partner Des Smyth, and Brown's lack of effort prompted Irwin to say, 'Brown played like he didn't care.'
