If PGA Tour rules official Mark Russell is to be believed, then Kenny Perry is 'a man of the utmost purity and integrity.' Maybe so, but it doesn't change the fact that KP's stuck in the middle of a cheating scandal, if you can call it that.

The debacle centres around a two-minute video of the Kentuckian hitting a chip shot on the first play-off hole at this year's FBR Open. It shows Perry improving the lie of his ball. Looking at the above clip, we find him guilty as charged.

Somewhat inevitably, PGA Tour officials saw 'no problem' with the incident, dismissing Perry of any wrongdoing. Sometimes, the bigwigs will go to any length to protect golf's integrity. Even if that means lying.

Proving that some people do still have an iota of sense, Golf Channel analyst, Brandon Chamblee, sums up the situation, saying: 'There are hundreds of people who play this game for a living at the highest level. These people are human beings and, as we know, humans sometimes cheat.'
