"Sorry lads, bribery won't work, especially not thistles in pots or whatever that is..."

The Omega European Masters in Switzerland eh? I'm sure you'll be telling me that i'd be 'cuckoo' to miss it, or some such rubbish...
I'd never make a joke THAT bad, you should definitely do your best to clock it though as it's the start of the qualification for next year's Ryder Cup.

Ryder Cup? Already?
Yep, it's a year long process culminating in next year's Johnnie Walkers at Gleneagles. Automatic places in Nick Faldo's team will be given to the top ten Ryder Cup points scorers as of now onwards.

So who's going to score here?
No-one, thanks to Gary Player's Just-Say-No Campaign.

Who's going to score Ryder Cup points here, i.e do well in the tournament?
Lee 'Tim' Westwood (happy birthday by the way Lee) is the bookies favourite. Last year's champ Bradley Dredge will hope to do well again and David Howell, Robert Karlsson, Darren Clarke.  Niclas Fasth and Paul Casey are looking for Ryder Cup recalls.

When i'm looking for something, it always turns out to be in the last place I look.
Well, you should definitely take a look at the Omega Masters as there will be ten past winners in the field, extra incentive for the European players and the Crans-Sur-Sierre course is one of the most beautiful on the Tour.

How very neatly tied up
Thanks
