Paddy Power have apologised to their customers for the rather shoddy performance of their website this week. Having been overwhelmed by punters like us who put money on horses that fell over, they’ve compensated each of their customers with a free £10 bet. Very kind of them, but it does raise the question that if they can take the calculated risk that a percentage of their millions of customers will get a return on their tenner, how much sodding money must they have made this week?
