Camilo Villegas

Five birdies on the trot down the final stretch gave our favourite Colombian an awesome five under par 65. No one could have predicted such a fine round from Villegas, who now finds himself two shots off the pace at one over.

Ian Poulter

Another steady round from Poults, who bettered his opening round of 72 by one stroke. He looked extremely solid today, never really putting one a  snazzily clad foot wrong. He'll be in the mix on Sunday...

Geoff Ogilvy

A decent second round of 74 wasn't enough to take Geoff through to the weekend, but we're pretty sure his super high ball flight will get him another major some time soon.

Adam Scott

The curly-haired Aussie shot a four over par 74 to go with his first round 71. Scott dropped to tied 16th as a result, but he's still well in the mix going into the weekend. You get the feeling that Saturday's going to be his make or break day.

Ross Fisher

Ross couldn't improve on his first round of 72, taking two more strokes in his second round to drop into a tie for 27th. Seven shots off may be too much ground to make up, but if the wind is down tomorrow, allowing him to bomb it off the tee, who knows what will happen.

Paul Waring

Good to see that Waring made the cut, giving Titleist a full set of players on the weekend. Paul shot a four over 74 to go with his first round of 73, which is bleedin' good work in what have been tough, tough conditions.
