'I'm getting paid £500 an hour to do this thanks to my agent...'

... Like Donkey Kong. Phil Mickelson and co may reconsider playing on the European Tour now that next year's schedule has been announced. A record total of 53 tournaments will be crammed into a 13-month period, culminating in the $20 million Dubai World Championship next November.

This Race to Dubai stuff will see the top 60 players qualify for the season finale World Championship, where the winner will take home a cool $1.6 million out of a $10 million pool. The winner of the Race to Dubai itself will then pocket $2 million. It's pretty much a carbon copy of the Fed-Ex Cup.

And if you're wondering what this photo has to do with it all, well, it was taken at the Race to Dubai's launch in Turnberry. That bloke's supposed to be dressed like Harry Vardon if it wasn't already obvious....
