If you ask me, Friday's the day you lose money. You certainly can't win with a tournament bet, but  one bad day can turn a potential winner's weekend into an opportunity to catch up with some much-needed DIY. And it's surely too early to start lumping on those who've had their odds shortened - Justin Rose at 8/1? No, thank you very much...

There are some sorely tempting prices for those who had bad days yesterday, though - how about Padraig Harrington at 40/1, Ernie Els at 50/1 and Geoff Ogilvy at 70/1?

Far too early for it, but I can't help getting a tingle after a speculative punt on Trevor Immelman at 130/1. Sod's law he'll be tumbling down the leaderboard as you read this...
