Me,Myself & I - Lee Westwood

Lee Westwood

Big Lee Westwood, all 15 stone of him, settled onto the IGWT sofa for the latest round of our devilishly tricky pop quiz which proves how much golf’s stars know – or don’t know – about themselves. Surely Westwood must be aware, at age 34 and with 29 wins worldwide in a 14-year career, that he is dangerously close to that uncomfortable zone of “best player to have not won a major.” However, we were too kind to ask him that one. Instead, we found the Worksop-born Westwood in surprisingly good form for our excruciatingly challenging puzzler, which has brought at least two major champions to their knees. Here’s how Lee got on:

IGWT: Want a hint?

LW: Just tell me if it was before or after the Open.

IGWT: Before.

LW: Might be the European Open. Yeah, let’s go with the European Open.

IGWT: Correct.

LW: Hey, I want a bonus point for the Match Play ...

IGWT: No “official money” or world ranking points for the Match Play. So no bonus points. Greedy!
