RG: £80,000
IGWT: No, in 1992 - I think you’re thinking of your first full year, which was 1993.
RG: Dunno, £4000?

RG: Umm… tied 21st.

RG: 16 under par.

RG: The margin was two shots. I don’t think it was Monty. Was it Philip Price?
IGWT: No, try again.
RG: Umm.. Westwood?
IGWT: No.
RG: Don’t tell me it was Monty...
IGWT: No, it was Ross Drummond.
RG: Really??!!

IGWT: What were your scores in the 2001 US Open?
RG: 66 – 71… Umm… Let’s say…. What was par again? 70, I think, and then 71, with a three whack at the end!! And then evens in the play-off, I think. I didn’t think about the score in the play-off, I just tried to stay ahead of the other guy.
IGWT: Correct. We'll give you half a point each for those.

IGWT: That same year you topped the European Order of Merit, the first non European to do so since 1982. Who was the previous winner?
RG: Greg Norman.
IGWT: Right again.

IGWT: You repeated the feat the following year. How much to the nearest 100,000 euros did you win?
RG: (Laughs)… You sure not to the nearest cent? I can’t remember, I’ve spent it all!

RG: Mickelson. Allenby?

RG: Eleven.

RG: Twenty one.

IGWT: Name the last person from the Limpopo Province to win a major sporting trophy?
RG: A golfer?
IGWT: No.
